Iris has been with LSHV for 21 years. She found out about the position through a friend. She enjoys working with the public.
Iris’ favorite meal is a typical Cuban dish, white rice, black beans, skirt steak or shredded beef, fried sweet plantains, casava and of course a salad with lots of tomatoes and avocado. Be sure not to serve any soft boil eggs – she does not like the consistency!
The values that are most important to Iris are respect and compassion. She often remembers her mother saying, “treat others as you would want others to treat you”.
