Online Application for Legal Services

If you have been locked out of your residence, served with a post-judgment warrant with 14-days’ notice of eviction, denied emergency shelter by the Department of Social Services, or if your legal issue concerns a medical condition, please do not use this form. Instead, call our Intake Line at 877-574-8529.

Legal Services of the Hudson Valley provides support, advocacy, and civil legal representation to poor and low-income families and individuals in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Sullivan, Orange, and Ulster counties. For an overview of the types of cases we generally handle, see https://www.lshv.org/program/what-we-do/

Once you complete this application, an intake paralegal will contact you to ask you more questions and determine whether we can assist you. We will need to speak directly to the person with the legal issue unless someone else has legal authority to act on that person’s behalf. Completing this application does not guarantee that you will receive services from LSHV, and it does not create an attorney-client relationship. We cannot assist all applicants.

This is a secure website, and your information is being transmitted to a secure server. Legal Services of the Hudson Valley will keep all information transmitted through this form confidential.
