Senior Law Day

Hello, and welcome to our 21st annual Senior Law Day – one of Westchester County’s marquee programs. We are pleased to be in Hartsdale, in the heart of Westchester.
We are offering Senior Law Day during one of the most challenging of times for our seniors, their families, and all Westchester residents.

I want you to remember that you are not alone during this time. We are here to support you. This morning, we have created a safe, educational, and fun environment where you can enjoy and learn.
In just a little while, you will hear attorneys and experts providing valuable advice on aging issues. Following that, you can benefit from a confidential oneonone consultation to discuss your specific situation with a seasoned professional – all at no cost to you.

Your presence here today shows that you realize the importance of planning ahead and being informed. Education matters and that is what Senior Law Day is all about. But it is also important to follow that up with the next crucial step: putting your plan into action.

I want to thank the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services, the Senior Law Day Collaborative, and the Westchester County Parks for joining with the county’s Department of Senior Programs & Services to present Senior Law Day.

I also want to thank all the professionals and agencies who generously volunteer their time and knowledge year after year to benefit seniors and their families. In addition, I commend the private sponsors of today’s program for helping to make it possible.
