We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for City of Newburgh residents interested in learning more about their rights as tenants. The City of Newburgh, through a Cities Rise grant, has funded a series of Know Your Rights sessions for tenants. Tenants will be meeting, by ZOOM or by phone with a Legal Services of the Hudson Valley (LSHV) Tenants Rights Attorney.

Attorneys will be providing general information during the one-on-one meetings, including information about protections for tenants enacted in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Tenants interested in legal advice or assistance beyond the general information presented in the meetings will be invited to conduct an intake with LSHV. No intake is required to schedule an appointment for a one-on-one meeting. See the attached flyer for further information.
