On December 28, 2020, the Governor signed a new law delaying most evictions until May 1, 2021 and and this has been extended until August 31, 2021. Click here for more information.
For other types of cases, the courts are open with limits on the number of people in courthouses. Some appearances are virtual and some are in person, it varies by court and type of case.
There are many other changes in federal and state law that have been recently enacted to provide homeowners, consumers, public benefits applicants and recipients, and others with relief.
