On December 28, 2020, the Governor signed a new law delaying most evictions until May 1, 2021 and pausing eviction proceedings for two months. Click here for more information.
For other types of cases, the courts are open with limited capacity. There are fewer court employees working on site than usual, and the number of people who can be in courthouses is limited. In-person appearances may be rescheduled. The courts are hearing cases virtually when possible.
There are many other changes in federal and state law that have been recently enacted to provide homeowners, consumers, public benefits applicants and recipients, and others with relief.

All offices are open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We strongly encourage applicants who cannot complete an intake by phone to make an appointment for an in person intake.
